Oh dear.  I went through this phase when I was a kid where I thought it would be so cool to be part of a crew on an eighteenth century man-of-war.  Mostly I just wanted to climb the masts and swing on the ropes.  In my eyes they were like floating jungle gyms - what could be more fun?  Clearly I had never seen this kind of movie.
