I just wanted to post these two images (from the 13th episode of Wild Romance) because together they represent the insane range of awesomeness this show encompasses.
The first is of Manager Kim, recently reconciled with Dong Ah, diligently studying a dating self help book in his spartan apartment, awkwardly but earnestly receiving a sudden call from her. Sweet and hilarious at the same time.
The second is from when Soo Young is taking out the trash. She’s recovering (physically and mentally) from an unexpected miscarriage as well as… other things. And mixed in with the recycling she finds a picture her young son had drawn. The Korean reads “my younger brother”. Soo young holds the picture for a moment then slowly lets it fall into the rubbish bin. Strikingly and gut-wrenchingly sad.
Ok, who wrote this thing? Why is it so awesome? Wild Romance, how can you do all of this to me in the space of a single episode????
