Aisha (2010) is a modern adaptation of Jane Austen’s Emma (although it reads a lot more like an adaptation of that other adaptation from the nineties staring Alicia Silverstone).  It was a veryyy superficial movie, all style and no substance, but it was fun to watch mostly for the fashion and stellar soundtrack.  (The product placement was really distracting, though.)
