Ru Yi, episode 3.

Sheesh, considering that she’s the title character of this story, Ru Yi’s getting almost no screen time per episode!  And the little time she gets is, sadly, quite dull.  Her big first meeting with her future OTP was a painfully Marius-and-Cosette kind of moment.

I’m finding Madame Tan to be surprisingly sympathetic overall.  She’s not exactly the wicked stepmother I was expecting.
